Mobile Marketing Era

At the end of 2011, many marketer start to using mobile marketing to promote their product. Is it the era of Mobile Marketing will be the popular way in 2012 ?  And how to get more sales from that ?  So, I believed Mobile Marketing is the new way to get straight to your customer target and maybe it will increase your sales. On the other hand,is the advertising on their cellphone  will disturb them ? We never know. It depends on many thing.

Mobile Marketing 

Mobile marketing is commonly known as wireless marketing. However wireless is not necessarily mobile. For instance, a consumer’s communications with a Web site from a desktop computer at home, with signals carried over a wireless local area network (WLAN) or over a satellite network, would qualify as wireless but not mobile communications. It is very easy and simple. We can call it SMS (Short Message Service).

Marketing on a mobile phone known as SMS marketing has become increasingly popular ever since the rise of SMS  in the early 2000s in Europe and some parts of Asia when businesses started to collect mobile phone numbers and send off wanted (or unwanted) content. On average, SMS messages are read within four minutes, making them highly convertible.

And also, thanks to the technological prowess, because  nearly all new phones produced with a color screen are capable of sending and receiving standard MMS message (Multimedia Message Service).  MMS mobile marketing can contain a timed slideshow of images, text, audio and video. It is very powerful to attract the attention of buyers.

Technology development has provided convenience to the user’s mobile marketing services as well as buyers. For example, Google, Yahoo, and other major mobile content providers have been selling advertising placement on their properties for years already as of the time of this writing. Advertising networks focused on mobile properties and advertisers are also available. Additionally, web forms on web pages can be used to integrate with mobile texting sources for reminders about meetings, seminars and other important events that assume users are not always at their computers.

What is a PLR  ?

PLR is a a concept similar to reselling, but the merchant is permitted to modify the product to fit his or her  needs.

Typical PLR products are articles, reports, eBooks and autoresponders.

This kind of content is used for the purpose of allowing multiple buyers to invest in the content with free rein to alter and                         use it by claiming authorship of it. It is typically used in online affiliate marketing systems.

What we can do with the PLR ?

  • As Product

An online merchant may lack a product of their own to sell and may purchase PLR media as a substitute. Typically, the product takes the form of an ebook or software. The PLR-reseller modifies the contents of an e-book and resells it under their own name. PLR software may perform various functions such as managing email marketing. In short, a PLR-producer sells content to a PLR-reseller who modifies and sells it to a customer who may or may not be a PLR-reseller as well.

  • As Advertising

PLR media is also used to generate web traffic to other websites, as part of affiliate marketing or spamming. A common tactic is to buy short PLR articles, rewrite some of the content, add an affiliate link, and post the changed content to an article directory. Websurfers passing through will then click on said affiliate link while browsing for information. These articles can also be used as teasers on websites to convince viewers to purchase a product. Videos may also be editable by the merchant and used for advertising.

PLR website-generating software produces generic landing pages for the purpose of selling PLR-produced products or affiliate marketing. These pages allow the customer to sign up for email lists or contact the merchant by phone.

How much is a PLR cost ?

PLR products are generally affordable because the content is shared among many buyers. It is feasible to find PLR for one dollar per page compared to the cost of hiring a ghostwriter  to create unique content. Turning a PLR package into a new product or rewriting it is often much cheaper and easier with higher quality PLR products.

How is the quality of a PLR ?

Quality varies among PLR providers. Some content needs to be rewritten because the writing itself was poor, possibly written by a foreign speaker, or the content is inaccurate.

What is the Rules ?

Each Private Label Rights provider will have different rules. Some require the buyer to modify the PLR content, while others do not. Possible restrictions include:

  • Posting the PLR content at Article Directories
  • Using it as website content
  • Breaking it up into blog posts
  • Bundling it and selling or giving it away as bonuses
  • Posting it in ezines/autoresponders
  • Using it as a marketing article
  • Referring to it as research already done; Base new content from it
  • Using it to create an E-Report/E-book with affiliate links
  • Using the information to provide freelink exchange articles with similar sites

These restrictions are meant to limit the overall supply of content. PLR-providers have their own sales limit; only allowing a set number of PLR-resellers to purchase a particular package. If too many PLR-resellers use or sell the content, it becomes valueless.

Most blogs allow visitors to the blog to post comments on any of the blog posts. These comments may pertain to the blog posting or may be completely unrelated. The comments may also be positive or negative in nature. Regardless of the type of comment left by a visitor the blogger may choose to deal with these comments in a number of different ways. The blogger may answer these comments, block individual visitors from leaving comments in the future or use administrative features to delete comments or set the blog to require approval of the comments before they are posted on the blog. This article will discuss each of these options for dealing with comments on a blog in greater detail.

Answering Comments on Your Blog

Bloggers who receive comments on their blog may wish to answer these comments. Most blogging programs allow the blogger to post comments on his own blog which enables the blogger to answer comments directly. With this feature a blogger can deal with a number of different situations including negative comments, positive comments and questions. Bloggers who receive negative comments on their blog may opt to answer these comments directly with a rebuttal to the negative comments.

This allows the blogger to recognize the criticism and defend his original post. Bloggers who receive positive comments may also wish to answer these comments to thank the visitors for the praise. Still other bloggers may receive comments which ask a question about the blog post or the blogger himself. Bloggers may opt to answer these questions to develop a better relationship with the blog visitors.

Blocking Comments from Individual Visitors

Another option for dealing with blog comments which are negative in nature is to block comments from individual blog visitors. In most cases bloggers will have the ability to blog a particular user from leaving comments on the blog. The blogger may wish to use this option in situations where the comments from the blog visitor are extremely mean spirited.

The blogger may also wish to ban individual blog visitors from making comments if he has previously attempted to explain his point to the visitor but the visitor continues to post negative comments. A blogger may also wish to ban an individual blog visitor from making comments if he believes the comments are being left as spam.

Using Administrative Features

Still another option for dealing with comments on a blog includes using administrative features to delete comments or modify the settings to not allow comments to be displayed until the blogger approves them. Blog owners typically have the ability to delete a comment left by a blog visitor. Deleting these comments is usually a quite simple process. However, it is not a completely effective method because other blog visitors may have the opportunity to read these comments before they are deleted.

Therefore, deleting the comment may prevent some visitors from reading the comment but will not ensure the comment is not seen by any blog visitors. However, there is a way for bloggers to make sure visitors do not read negative comments. Most types of blogging software have options which require the blogger to approve all comments before they become available to the public. This gives the blogger the ability to delete a comment before it is read by any of the blog visitors. The blogger can simply delete any comments they do not wish others to read before the comments are published.

This article will outline some of these basic tips including posting new entries regularly, writing for a specific audience and properly evaluating changes made to the blog.

Posting New Blog Entries Regularly

The importance of posting new blog entries on a regular basis cannot be underestimated. This is so important because regular postings offer dedicated blog visitors an incentive to keep returning to the blog. Readers may visit a blog originally by chance but become committed to returning to the blog regularly based on the content which is provided on a regular basis. If the blogger allows the blog to become stagnant, the readers do not have motivation to keep coming back to the blog. This is critical because a blog which is already successful can be doomed to failure if the blogger makes a chance which is not appreciated by the dedicated visitors and does not address the concerns of the readers. To avoid this potential problem bloggers should be careful to only make one change at a time and to allow ample time to evaluate the effect the change has on website traffic as well as the comments from readers before deciding whether to reverse the change or make additional changes.

Similarly a blog which is looking to increase website traffic can run into problems if they make too many changes and do not evaluate how these changes are affecting the blog’s traffic. A better strategy would be to make small changes one at a time and evaluate the effect of the change carefully before making more changes. This will help guide the blogger to produce a successful blog.
